Our finnish sauna and "Dachstein sauna" in the relax & vital spa is open from 10 a.m. to 10:00 p.m (the double storey sauna is open from 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. The family spa is open from 3 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.

What could be more enjoyable than sweating in the sauna after a strenuous day in the fresh air and then dozing in the relaxation area? In the wellness hotel Schütterhof in Schladming-Rohrmoos we know that and have expanded our sauna area in 2019.
In addition to the existing saunas, 3 new sauna highlights, a panorama lounge and redesigned relaxation oases with magnificent views of Schladming and the Dachstein await you. Since 2024 there have been new highlights in the sauna area, a cold water pool for cooling off and a warm water pool.

2 sauna areas: Adults and Family Spa
In order to meet the different needs for rest or entertainment of our guests, we now have 2 wellness areas. On the ground floor you will find the family spa with tepidarium, brine grotto, biosauna, infrared cabin, Kneipp facility, tea corner and other attractive spa services. On the first and second basement level in the relax & vital spa, adults (16 and above) will find various saunas with mountain views, the new relaxation area and the sleeping room "Auszeit".

Sauna in peace
A sauna session relaxes and cleanses, regenerates muscles and skin cells, stimulates blood pressure and strengthens the body's defenses. Treat yourself and your body to something good at the adults spa. There are 3 saunas to choose from:
- Finnenstube: Finnish sauna (90 ° C) with panoramic views and infusions
- Stadlsauna: Double storey sauna (90 ° C) with views of the mountains and
- Dachsteinsauna: Biosauna (65 ° C) with great mountain views to the north and west
- Steam bath

Family spa
Quality time in the sauna
The sauna area of the Family-Spa offers a wide range of opportunities. Access is also allowed for families.
- Finnish sauna (90°C)
- Bio sauna (65°C)
- Steam bath (45-50°C)
- Herb cabine: a steam bath with herb essences (45-50°C)
- Infrared cabine
- Ice fountain, waterfall shower, mist shower or Kneipp area
- Brine grotto: Salt brine with essential mint and eucalyptus extracts
- Tepidarium: Warm room with heated walls and seating areas
Those who prefer a gentle, cycle-friendly heat, opt for the tepidarium, the brine grotto or the steam bath. In order to stimulate the circulation and to mobilize the immune system, a walk through the Kneipp pool in the Family Spa is also recommended.
New: Pools in the sauna area of the Relax & Vital Spa (from 16 years)
Hot water (35 °C) & cold water pool
Look forward to a wonderful view of Schladming and the Dachstein in the new warm water pool at the Schütterhof. You can relax at a pleasant 35 °C. Our cold water pool provides cooling after your sauna session.

Fragrance Therapy & Co
You want to do something about your tension or your vitamin D deficiency. Would you like to do something for the regeneration of your skin and respiratory system? In the spa and wellness area of the Schütterhof we are also equipped for it! Relieve your tension with light and heat in the infrared cabin. Enjoy a gentle massage on the Medi Stream hot-water massage bed or recharge your batteries with light and warmth.
Take care of your skin and respiratory system and discover the effect of our herbal cabin. At the press of a button, you can choose different fragrances that, in combination with the warm and humid climate, thoroughly cleanse your skin and respiratory tract. In addition, you can arrange a massage or cosmetic appointment in our BeautyLand for your spa holiday.

To relax between the sauna sessions you have many options: Go to the bedroom, if you want to take a nap or use our sleeping room "Auszeit" in the relax & vital spa. Take advantage of the covered terrace or the sunbathing area, if you are looking for fresh air and sun. Make yourself comfortable in the Panorama Lounge if you want to hear music and dream and enjoy the vision. In addition, the quiet berths, relax swings, several warm benches and cozy tea corners invite you to linger.
