From the breakfast table directly on the slopes ... with us you waste no time. Strap on your skis and whiz to the modern lift. You have not skied a long time and would like to settle in slowly? Directly behind the Schütterhof is an entry-level lift with a blue run. The right ski equipment and ski passes are available on request directly from us at the hotel (> 1,5 days).

Hiking in winter
With or without snowshoes - winter hiking has its own special charm. Nature exudes an invigorating calm, the loudest sound is the crackle underfoot. Around Schladming-Rohrmoos there are several hiking and walking trails. Whether at altitude, from village to village or along the Enns. Some trails are lit in the evening, so you can start again after dinner. Others can be combined with a toboggan ride. Snowshoes can be rented directly from us at Hotel Schütterhof.

Ski tours are becoming increasingly popular. Instead of the train, it goes up the mountain with special touring skis, which are covered with skins. At the top, the skins are removed. Now the descent to the valley - off the beaten pistes - can start. In addition to a special equipment and athletic condition, it also needs knowledge of snow conditions and a careful handling of nature. Therefore, we recommend "newcomers" first to book a guided tour with an experienced mountain guide.

Sports enthusiasts can look forward to the longest glacier trail in the world, the Dachstein Panorama Trail. Along the Dachstein glacier, it extends to 2,700 m in the middle of a fantastic mountain backdrop.

Sled down the mountain by night, enjoy the winter landscape in the mountains on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Go ice climbing or paragliding. Winter equipment
The luggage for the ski holiday is usually extensive and bulky. This especially affects those who arrive by public transport. Therefore, in cooperation with "Schi Lenz" in Schladming we lend ski boots, skis, poles, helmets, snowboards and snowshoes with a price advantage. The loaned materials will leave you at the end of your vacation in our ski room. There is an allocated ski-safe per room and the possibility to let the shoes dry. You will also receive ski passes from the Schütterhof (more than 1,5 days passes).
