Familie Gyger & the competent team
The Hosts
Since 2006, Renate and Roland Gyger have been running the Hotel Schütterhof in the second generation. We are supported by Renate´s sisters Gerlinde and Andrea. Together with a longtime team, we will continue the parents' host philosophy. This philosophy is to offer every guest a "home on vacation" through a very personal feel-good hotel. Since not only the sisters, but also the majority of our team come from the Schladming-Dachstein region, they all know each other well and can competently answer every question.
Environmental consciousness & future-oriented
Electric bikes, electric cars, hydropower & more
We try to act as sustainable as possible. For example by:
- 100 % electricity from hydropower
- Heat for the hotel and our pools are from the district heating plant Schladming, which is operated with wood chips
- Reallocation of waste heat from the cooling systems for heating
- own laundry in the hotel, which is why journeys are saved.
- Staff rooms, for employees who need an accommodation in Schladming or electric cars for local staff.

Your Arrival
Our family-run 4-star Hotel Schütterhof in Schladming can be reached by car, train or long-distance bus. A shuttle service and parking are available for free of charge.The nearest airports are Salzburg and Linz.These are only about one hour drive from Schütterhof. In the snow-free months, we rent two electric cars on a daily basis.
