The Hosts
Since 2006, Renate and Roland Gyger have been running the Hotel Schütterhof in the second generation. We are supported by Renate´s sisters Gerlinde and Andrea. Together with a longtime team, we will continue the parents' host philosophy. This philosophy is to offer every guest a "home on vacation" through a very personal feel-good hotel. Since not only the sisters, but also the majority of our team come from the Schladming-Dachstein region, they all know each other well and can competently answer every question.

- 100% of our electricity comes from renewable hydropower.
- The entire hotel, including our pools, is heated via the Schladming district heating network, which is fuelled by locally sourced wood chips.
- We efficiently recover waste heat from our refrigeration systems to provide additional heating, reducing energy consumption.
- Our in-house laundry helps reduce transport distances while ensuring high quality and flexibility.
- We provide accommodation for many of our employees in Schladming or offer electric vehicles for their daily commute from the surrounding region.
- Guests can enjoy complimentary charging at our 37 Type 2 electric vehicle charging stations throughout their stay.
