E-cars, charging stations & e-bikes

E-mobility has been a priority at the Schütterhof for years: we have been lending out high-quality e-mountain bikes free of charge since 2008, and since 2019 our guests have been able to rent an e-car for just €20/day in the summer months to explore the Schladming-Dachstein region without making a sound & explore with electron energy.

• E-charging stations in our own car park: 37 e-charging stations are available free of charge for the e-cars of our employees and guests. By charging with electricity from renewable energies, you don't have to worry about charging options even on holiday.
• Since December 2018, our employees have had the option of using an e-car to travel to work AND for private trips. If you live in the staff house, you can do without daily car trips because the hotel is within walking distance.

We wash towels, bed linen etc. ourselves

As part of our major renovation in 2019, we have our laundry with a view of the Dachstein. Since completion, all laundry has been washed by our hard-working cleaning team. This has the following advantages:

• Hygiene and quality are our top priority - we now constantly carry out checks and improvements ourselves!
• Sustainability is important to us - we save a lot of transport trips by cleaning the laundry in-house.

In order to relieve our employees of this additional workload, we rely on machine support, among other things. Our laundry room is equipped with a folding machine that folds towels up to 230 cm, two ironing machines, two dryers and six washing machines in different sizes. Another special feature of our laundry room are the panoramic windows, which allow a view of the Dachstein massif and flood the room with light
